Fraunhofer Institute for Telecommunications, HHI Orders AIXTRON MOCVD Tool for InP Photonics

Ordered one AIX 2600G3 IC MOCVD system for the multi-wafer growth of indium phosphide (InP) based optoelectronic devices

AIXTRON AG announced that in the fourth quarter the Fraunhofer Institute for Telecommunications, Heinrich-Hertz-Institut (HHI), Berlin, Germany, ordered one AIX 2600G3 IC MOCVD system for the multi-wafer growth of indium phosphide (InP) based optoelectronic devices. The MOCVD tool will be delivered in a 8×4 inch wafer configuration and be shipped in the third quarter of 2009.
